    Terms and Conditions

    Important: By using our services, you accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Please read them carefully before making any booking. These terms comply with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, European consumer law and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

    1. Purpose and scope

    These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "GTC") govern the contractual relationship between ZRL-DRIVE (hereinafter "the Provider") and any natural or legal person (hereinafter "the Client") wishing to use the private chauffeur-driven transport services offered by the Provider.

    The GTC apply to the exclusion of all other terms, in particular those of the Client, unless previously agreed in writing by the Provider. Placing an order implies the Client's full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

    2. Description of services

    The Provider offers the following private chauffeur-driven transport services:

    • Airport transfers: Service to all airports in Belgium and Europe (Brussels-Zaventem, Charleroi, Paris CDG, Amsterdam Schiphol, etc.)
    • Daily journeys: Errands, medical appointments, outings and everyday travel
    • Executive & Business service: Private chauffeur at your disposal for business travel
    • Events: VIP transport for weddings, galas, seminars and corporate events
    • Long distance: Comfortable journeys to all destinations in Belgium and Europe
    • 24/7 availability: Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays

    The essential characteristics of the services are presented on the website zrl-drive.be. The Provider undertakes to provide the services in accordance with the specifications communicated upon booking confirmation.

    3. Bookings

    3.1. Booking methods

    Bookings can be made:

    • By phone on +32 487 01 23 24
    • By WhatsApp on the same number
    • Via the online booking form on zrl-drive.be
    • By email to info@zrl-drive.be

    3.2. Required information

    For any booking, the Client must provide:

    • First name and surname
    • Phone number
    • Pick-up address and destination
    • Desired date and time
    • Number of passengers
    • Luggage information (number and type)

    3.3. Booking confirmation

    Every booking is confirmed by the Provider by email or SMS as soon as possible. The confirmation includes the details of the service (date, time, pick-up location, destination, price). The booking is only final upon receipt of the confirmation from the Provider.

    3.4. Booking notice

    It is recommended to make bookings at least 24 hours in advance. For urgent bookings (less than 2 hours), please contact us directly by phone. Acceptance of last-minute bookings is subject to the availability of our chauffeurs.

    4. Prices and payment

    4.1. Pricing

    Prices are determined on the basis of:

    • The distance to be travelled
    • The estimated duration of the service
    • The type of vehicle chosen (Economy, Premium)
    • Any applicable surcharges

    A detailed quote is provided at the time of booking. The prices communicated are firm and final, unless the Client requests a significant change to the route. All prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and include VAT at the applicable Belgian rate.

    4.2. Surcharges

    Surcharges may apply in the following cases:

    • Night surcharge: Journeys between 22:00 and 06:00
    • Public holiday surcharge: Journeys on Belgian public holidays
    • Bulky luggage surcharge: Beyond the standard allowance
    • Additional waiting time: Beyond the free waiting time granted
    • Route change: If requested during the journey

    4.3. Payment methods

    Payment can be made:

    • In cash (EUR only)
    • By bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Bancontact)
    • By bank transfer (business clients, on account)
    • By secure online payment (where offered)

    Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the end of each service. For business clients with an open account, payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date.

    4.4. Late payment

    In the event of late payment, late-payment interest at the increased Belgian statutory rate shall automatically apply, together with a fixed compensation of 40 EUR for recovery costs, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.

    5. Right of withdrawal

    Important information about the right of withdrawal

    In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services when they are provided on a specific date or for a specific period.

    However, you may cancel or modify your booking in accordance with the cancellation conditions set out in section 6 below. These conditions are more favourable than the statutory right of withdrawal in most situations.

    Exception: If you have booked a transport service for an unspecified date or a gift voucher, you have a withdrawal period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract, without having to give any reason or pay any penalty. To exercise this right, you may use the withdrawal form available in the appendix or send an unequivocal statement to info@zrl-drive.be.

    6. Cancellation and modification

    6.1. Cancellation by the Client

    Any cancellation or modification must be notified to the Provider by phone, email or WhatsApp. The following conditions apply:

    6.2. Cancellation by the Provider

    The Provider reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of force majeure (extreme weather conditions, strikes, major mechanical failures, etc.) or impossibility of performing the service. In that case, the Client is refunded in full and promptly, without any additional compensation.

    6.3. Modifications

    Booking modifications (change of time, address or number of passengers) are possible subject to availability. Modifications made less than 24 hours before the service may lead to a price revision.

    7. Performance of the service

    7.1. Punctuality

    The Provider undertakes to be present at the agreed place and time. In the event of a delay attributable to the Provider exceeding 15 minutes, compensation may be granted (discount on the journey or credit for a future booking).

    7.2. Waiting time

    Free waiting time is granted:

    • Standard journeys: 15 minutes after the agreed time
    • Airport transfers (arrivals): 45 minutes after the actual landing

    Beyond that, a surcharge of 0.50 EUR per minute of waiting will be invoiced, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

    7.3. Luggage

    The transport of standard luggage (1 suitcase + 1 piece of hand luggage per passenger) is included in the price. For bulky, oversized or additional luggage, please inform us at the time of booking. A surcharge may apply.

    7.4. Conduct

    The Client undertakes to behave respectfully towards the chauffeur and to keep the vehicle in good condition (no smoking, no messy food, etc.). The Provider reserves the right to refuse or interrupt a service in the event of inappropriate, dangerous or illegal behaviour by the Client, without refund.

    7.5. Children and car seats

    Children under 135 cm or under 18 kg must be transported in a suitable car seat in accordance with Belgian law. The Client is responsible for providing the car seat, unless requested in advance from the Provider (subject to a surcharge and availability).

    8. Liability and insurance

    8.1. Insurance

    All our vehicles are insured in accordance with the Belgian legislation in force. This insurance covers passengers during transport. The Provider also holds professional civil liability insurance.

    8.2. Personal belongings

    The Provider cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of the Client's personal belongings left or forgotten in the vehicle. However, any item found will be kept for 30 days and the Client will be contacted if their details are known.

    8.3. Delays and external circumstances

    The Provider cannot be held liable for delays or the impossibility of performing the service caused by external circumstances beyond its control: exceptional traffic jams, weather conditions, road accidents, strikes, demonstrations, etc.

    8.4. Damage to the vehicle

    In the event of damage caused to the vehicle by the Client or their companions (significant soiling, deterioration, etc.), the Client shall compensate the Provider for the cleaning or repair costs.

    9. Complaints and customer service

    Any complaint must be sent in writing (email or post) within 7 days of the service to:

    The Provider undertakes to acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 48 hours and to provide a reasoned response within a maximum of 15 working days.

    10. Protection of personal data

    The personal data collected are processed in accordance with our Privacy policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    The data are used exclusively for managing bookings, performing the services, invoicing and, with your consent, sending commercial information. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data.

    11. Applicable law and dispute resolution

    These GTC are governed by Belgian law. The language of the contract is French.

    Amicable settlement

    In the event of a dispute, we invite you to contact us first in order to seek an amicable solution.

    Consumer mediation

    In accordance with Book XVI of the Code of Economic Law, if you are a consumer and a dispute could not be resolved amicably, you may make free use of the mediation service:

    Competent courts

    Failing an amicable agreement or mediation, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of the judicial district of Brussels, Belgium, subject to the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers which would allow them to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

    12. Amendment of the GTC

    The Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The applicable terms are those in force on the date of the booking. Amendments will be published on the website and, for substantial changes, communicated by email to registered clients.

    13. Acceptance of the GTC

    By making a booking with ZRL-DRIVE, the Client acknowledges having read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and accepts them fully and without reservation.
